Indoor Meetings
Wed 13 Dec Members' evening with mince pies and Christmas cheer! Bring along any short
presentations, items of interest etc. Members may also like to bring along any
unwanted books or other natural history-related items to pass on, in return for a
donation to the Society.
Wed 10 Jan ‘What is a plant community?’ Talk by Dr Brian Ferry, retired lecturer at RoyalHolloway, University of London.
Wed 14 Feb ‘Update on the copse project at Byfleet church.’ Talk by ENHS member Richard
Jewell.
Wed 13 Mar ‘Annual round-up of news from the Elmbridge Estate.’ Talk by ENHS member
and Elmbridge Countryside Estates Officer Dave Page.
Wed 10 Apr AGM, with short members’ presentations to follow.
Any Zoom meetings start at 20:00, but you can usually join the meeting from about 19:50.
They usually last until about 21:30
Members will be sent a link for each meeting a day or two beforehand.
VENUE FOR INDOOR MEETINGS
Our indoor meetings are held at Cobham Village Hall, Lushington Drive, Cobham.
This is in a modern complex of community buildings in the centre of Cobham, opposite the entrance to Waitrose car park. We use the Committee Room on the first floor. Look for the ENHS sign. There is ample free parking, and we will have all facilities provided. Note that meetings start at 8pm, and we are able to set up from 7.30pm. We will leave by 10pm.
Non-members are welcome to all indoor meetings (£3.00 charge, refundable if you join the Society).
Refreshments charge (winter meetings): 50p.
